How do you back up your video guestbook clips?

Do this in the first day or two after the wedding, while the iPad is safe at home.

1. Bring the iPad home. Keep it in your bag, not a rental return box. The clips live on this device until you copy them.
2. Connect to power and Wi-Fi. Plug it in and join your home network. A full charge and a stable connection prevent a stall halfway through.
3. Export from Votive. Open the app and export the clips to your iPad. This gives you standard video files you can move anywhere.
4. Copy to a second place. Move the files to a cloud drive, then also to your computer. Now you have two copies in two locations.
5. Confirm both copies play. Open one clip from each place. A backup only counts once you have watched it play.
